I send my iPad Air for battery replacement. Everything seemed ok when the ipad was handed over to me . However, after charging the battery, there are black and white lines appearing on the screen the next day. What could have happen? Is this a user problem or something happen during the replacement process but the fault did not occured immediately?

Who repaired your iPad? Was it Apple?

This was caused by a poor repair or poor quality part, assuming it has not been dropped since being repaired.

If Apple repaired it, take it back to them and they'll most likely put it right without argument.

If a third party repaired it, well, they may or may not fix it without a fight... but this is the issue with thirds party repairers - most are untrained, none of them can access genuine new Apple parts and virtually any of them I ever approached never stand by their work either. I have no issue with how Apple treats them because of this. Hopefully you went to Apple.

Looks like either a cable wasn't put back properly, or said battery has expanded and damaged the LCD. Looks like a cable to me though.

Thanks unfortunately it was a third party replacement. No we did not dropped the ipad.

could be the battery expansion as it is Probably not an Apple battery
