I can watch it on a clock app- every 60 seconds, I loose wifi- or at the least the wifi icon disappears- every 60 seconds. Not 61, and not 59, but 60. It stays out for only a fraction of a second (maybe 1/2 a sec). This is just an annoyance and a visual distraction. At first it would go away after I did a reset, but that doesn't seem to work anymore. Has anyone here experienced anything like this? I'm using an airport extreme router, and my iPhone does not have this problem.

[Edit] The sixty second interval has been going on for a couple of months, but looking at it again, it's not as well-defined as I used to think it was- more like 45 seconds right now.

Yes it's a documented problem and Apple claims a fix is on it's way. That was some time ago though.

Lol I've seen like 3 of these threads today....I don't think they will do anything till ios4

For the record it doesn't seem to be so frequent for me. It only happens maybe a couple of times a day. That being said I'll be glad to not have it happen again whenever them fix does come.

I have a similar problem except it jumps down to the smallest bar, beforejumpingback up to full strength without any change it loading speed
Though it doesn't happen as often a every minute

Posted this in another (similar) thread, but I was having the same issue but with wifi dropping every 5 minutes or so, but only at home. I was using a Netgear router and every single other wifi I connected to worked fine. I replaced my Netgear router with a Linksys and haven't had an issue since.
