Hello, I am a recent I.T worker, I was given a damaged Ipad and I had to return a new one, so I made the data transfer from the old to the new.
My colleague reseted the old one, and one day later the costumer called saying that he is missing very important files.
What should I do?

Thanks

Unless there is an old cloud or computer back up you can restore from, there isn’t much you can do.

Ask customer to get files from cloud sync'd account. Customer failed to backup to cloud? Customer's loss due to "eye-dee-ten-tea" error. Take this as a learning moment for customer, recommend backing up important data. There will be failures, loss, theft, ect. in the future.

Ask the customer to restore their iOS device from their backup as they surely have one.
