iPad micro sim in iPhone 4?

Does anyone know how/or if it's possible to use your iPad's micro sim in an iPhone 4 for data only. Has anyone successfully done it.

You will have to wait for jailbreak in order to change the carrier settings in iPhone 4.

It would be stuck on "phone" and u would need to change it on the iPhone to " broadband".

You can put iPhone sim into iPad and change settings from broadband to phone however pad is sold unlocked so apple will let u do it that way.

Bur until iPhone gets jail broken u can't change the carrier APN.

I am using iPad SIM in iPhone 4 for data only.

here are the steps:

- Install iPad Mico SIM in iPhone 4

- Turn on WiFi on iPhone

- From iPhone 4, go to this site. http://unlockit.co.nz

- Tap Custom APN, then enter Broadband in the APN field.

- Leaving the remaining fields blank, tap Create Profile, then tap Install, followed by Install Now on the popup.

- Tap Done, disable your WiFi and bask in the glory of $30 a month unlimited 3G.

- You can remove the shortcut that it installs in your Home screen.

- Reboot and enjoy.
