I do own a relatively new (one year old) iPad mini 4, since the upgrade to 12.01 and subsequently it will run flat in 8 hours of standby, whereas before it would hold up to 4 days in standby without any problem at all. The main culprit seems to be Siri, although i switched every Siri option off that i could find.

When restarted and checking the battery usage it shows Siri as using around 90% of the battery in the last 24 hours, no matter what. And from the graph it doesn't even matter if i have it in standby or not, it simply depletes the battery at the same rate. Now, that makes that iPad completely unusable for me and as i am covered by apple care and european warranty laws i think about simply handing it back for my full money in return. I might or might not buy an iPad pro 11' instead, but currently i probably would rather pocket the money as that problem does not seem to be Mini specific.

Anyone with an idea how to fix that?
