I don't see any reason why it wouldn't. It is an iPad, after all.

I am trying to get drag and drop working on my iPad Mini 4 on iOS 11 and it isn't currently working for me. Don't know if I am doing it wrong or if it isn't supported.

I would love if someone could confirm this for me and the OP.

Thank you,

ipad mini never got the other multitasking and split screen features from ios 10.

I'm running iOS 11 beta 1 on my iPad mini 4 currently. It has the new multitasking features (updated dock, split screen, slide over, picture in picture, drag and drop, remembers app pairings when switching apps, etc) and they work pretty well for a first beta.

Have a video to show the beta performance while using the new features and UI improvements? Thanks.

When I am going through the app switcher in the beta, there is severe scroll lag, is this because of the
beta nature of iOS 11 or the hardware in the mini 4?
Probably mostly that it is (the first) beta. I'm sure performance will improve in later betas and the final release. That said it probably won't be as smooth as the newest devices...

Great news! I'm happy the mini will survive one more iOS update, and I'm glad it's this one!
