I believe for that Verizon deal its a 2 year contract and you have to do installments on both the iPad and the iPhone.

Anything subject to a cellular contract is not a real discount. You just pay the discount off over the contract period.

Verizon has $100 off (was $150 yesterday) if you do a 2 year installment plan. You can pay if off right away with no penalty.

Installments are not required, someone can pay up front for theirs. This is what I did with my two year contract iPad mini and it ended up costing me $320.

Yes and No. Yes it's a two year contract but didn't have to make installments. I paid it up front. If you make payments it's still cheaper.

But, the best deal $200.00 is to pay it up front.
