Will the iPad mini 4 glass screen protector work for the iPad mini 5?

At first I read that the iPad mini 5 body is exactly the same as the mini 4, then I saw a post which said the microphone has been moved. Where to?

I can’t get a screen protector for the mini 5 yet where I live, but I can get a mini 4 one. But will that cover the microphone?

Mini 4 screen protector will work on the 5. On the 4 the microphone was on the rear right beside the camera, and on the 5 it's along the top, but more centered (and still on the rear, just not beside the camera).

When you say on the top, you mean it’s not on the front, it’s on the top edge?

Yes. Both have the microphone on the rear. it will not affect any coverings that go only on the front of the device.
