Hello guys I’m new here I m not expert in technology things but I just have question which iPad is really better in display specially for Netflix YouTube twitch STARZPLAY and prime Amazon video and Crunchyroll and football or soccer match this is my concern which one will be better for best pics quality and if it’s by far or one have little advantage to other also is the iPhone 13 pro close to this two iPad in this use or no display wise

In the end can anyone have some experience name it from best to worst in display wise and explain the different is huge or just little between iPad mini 6 and iPad Pro 12.9 and iPhone 13 pro display wise

Hi! It's a bit difficult (and for some people - irrelevant) to compare a tablet vs phone screen since these devices serve different purposes.
The iphone 13pro screen will be the smallest and the image on it will seem crispiest due to the size and pixel density.
It will be interesting to compare 2 ipads, however : they have different screen sizes, Apple iPad Pro 12.9 supports 120hz (while iPad mini 6 has 60hz display), there's difference in battery capacity and the price, of course.
I'm not sure there's a good video that compares these 3 products at the same time, but i've found one with ipad vs ipad comparison and ipad vs iphone
Hope it helps)

If you want the very best picture it will be the latest ipad pro 12.9" with mini led if the source material takes advantage of the tech. This is the flagship ipad.

I have the 12 Pro Max, Mini 6, and 2021 12.9 Pro and I don't see how you really compare the displays given their wide disparity in size. For me, the 12.9 is by far the best display for viewing videos, photos, and other media.

Same thoughts here. Besides, check them out in a store maybe to determine which size works best for a particular use case.

Ignoring size, the best display for watching videos would be the iPhone 13 Pro (Max).

It's got an OLED screen so deep blacks with no blooming plus its aspect ratio is closer to movies so less letterboxing.

That said, OLED gives me migraines and bigger is better when watching videos for me so 2021 Pro 12.9 all the way.

Great advice above! Something else to consider: a 12.9 iPad you're going to want to prop up against something or have it sitting on a desk. An iPad mini 6 or an iPhone 13 Pro - you can hold comfortably in your hands for long periods of time. So they're really different classes of devices. My iPad Pro 11 - I can hold in my hands for a few hours but it has taken years of using an 11' iPad Pro to get to that point - it's pretty heavy. But an iPhone? I can do that all day if I had to. A 12.9 iPad? Those things are really heavy.

The 12.9 has the most advanced display opbviously. But it is 1.5 pounds and is quite heavy for handheld use. The Mini 6 is about .6 pounds and is much easier to hold.

Also, the max local storage of the 12.9 is 2TB, while the Mini 6 maxes out at 256GB. If you stream, it doesn't matter, but if you have local downloads, it matters.

I can confirm a number of the responses already given, in that I have a 12.9 (2020), a Mini 6 and a 13 Pro

The 12.9 is used for either desk use atop a Magic Keyboard or for streaming viewing when in bed, attached to a gooseneck. The picture is excellent IMHO, and the sound quality is superb too.

I use the Mini 6 as a general consumption device and whilst the display and sound is not quite as good as the 12.9, I would have no issues in viewing via this device.

I rarely use the 13 Pro for viewing (other then the odd Facebook or YouTube vid, but as with the Mini 6, I don’t think I would have much of a problem in using this device to view.

Whatever the size of the display, you will adapt to the device you have and enjoy the content you’re viewing. I don’t think I have once sat watching something on any of my listed devices and thought ‘This isn’t dark/black/sharp/etc enough’.

Half the enjoyment in watching movies, and often for other videos, is the audio.
Movie audio on the iPhone is pathetic, audio on the iPad Mini 6 is just OK, and audio on the iPad Pros is fairly good. IMO.

None of these are as good as the recent iMacs and MPB's, and not in the same league as quality separate speakers.

I usually use Bluetooth headphones (Bose) or earbuds (Sony) but I've also used some JBL BT speakers in lieu of the built-in speakers.

For those with a iPad and iPhone with FID and a mini 6, does the TID annoy you? Not sure I could go back to that again, i don't even use it on my 24" iMac keyboard its a PITA.

No, it doesn't annoy me but I wish it had Face ID. I still find myself occasionally trying to swipe it open. But it's been easy to adjust to.

Yes. I wish everything was one or the other.
But on the scale of annoyance, it ranks about 1 out 10. The neighbor’s dog barking all night is about a 9.

Yes, but mostly because of the placement of it. When using the smart folio in landsacape, flipping up the front cover (which is the most natural way IMHO) and using it results in TID being in the lower right corner where there is no natural finger to use so you have to take your hand off to put a finger on it or make an awkward gesture to get you thumb there depending on how you do it.

I guess in their research more people used it in portrait, thus the volume on the top left and power/TID on the right.

Having come from a 2018 11” Pro, this is my only gripe. Otherwise sooooooo satisfied with the change.

Touch ID is one of the things i like the most about the Mini 6 (as well as the size). Wish they also implement it with iPhones (TID inside the on/off button).

Any other finger except the thumb works fine with smart folio in landscape.

My thumb is what I use when opening from landscape.

I was underwhelmed by VIDEO on the iPad Mini 6. It's not a very bright screen and even in my kitchen I really needed some extra nits. I would strongly consider another option if you're going to be using it in brightly-lit rooms or outside.
