Hi

I'll be getting an iPad Mini with retina display soon and I'd like to find a case that would replicate what I'm using on my current iPad, but with more solidity

What I have on my iPad is the Zerochroma skin with a Smart Cover. I love this setup, out of all the combinations of cases/skins I've tried this is the one that offers the most versatility and stability as I can have it on my legs or even my chest if I'm laying on the couch and it won't slip or fall with any slight movements.

Unfortunately, I've come to realize I'm not very gentle with my iPad since the reason I am getting a new one is that I've cracked the screen (second one in 2 years), so I want extra protection. While Zerochroma offers the case for iPad Mini, it's way too snug a fit to allow the addition of a tempered glass screen protector. Clearly I need the extra protection (and can't stand non-glass protectors)

So I'm trying to find other options but have had little luck. Can anyone recommend something? I'll see if it fits my needs

thanks,
