That's not surprising since the smaller screen contains far fewer pixels.

I thought the unlimited version of the bench would not care but perhaps I am wrong.

I think it always renders 4k.

Edited above and added the iPhone, I dont think it is the screen size ;)

I happened to stumble across this thread when I was typing out my thread title for my own post

That mini 6 score is very incorrect, definitely not ran in extreme. A quick search turned up results closer to the 12 pro as the mini uses a down-clocked A15 chip

There is only a 15% score difference with a clock rate that was likely lowered to maximize battery life. But the A14 had a slightly slower clock rate anyway compared to A15 and then there is also the extra GPU execution unit (5 vs 4)


M1 should be using 8 GPU cores, but does IpadOS take advantage of that optimally?

My point is the mini 6 isn’t scoring 65pfs on wildlife extreme unlimited which is the claim he made in this post Lol
