How do you manage both devices? Meaning when do you use each one? Which do you use the most? Many people say that the Note 2 is a replacement for the iPad mini but ibwas wondering what are your thoughts ( for those who own both). Thanks

I don't own the Mini, but I do have the Note 2 and Nexus 7 and I've found that the Note 2 completely replaces the tablet, for me at least.

I will say that while the Note 2 is amazing, the size is a pretty big deal (again, for me...others experience will vary). While I can easily fit it in my pocket, it can be unwieldy when holding it. It makes my S3 look tiny in comparison.

I'm actually looking to sell the Note 2 and S3 right now to help fund the upgrade to the S4. That has nothing to do with how much I like either the Note 2 or S3 (I love them both), but I like to have the latest tech, so upgrading to the S4 is a no-brainer for me.

I had a similar experience to KentuckyHouse. When I owned the note 2, I never once reached for my ipad b.c the screen size or lack of capability. I had the regular ipad and not the mini, but that is even a bigger difference. The screen size is great on the note 2 and browsing with the stylus is actually fun. The only time I used the ipad was for airplay...no way around that.

I started using my iPad mini less often when I switched from the iPhone to a Galaxy S3.

Now that I have been using the Galaxy Note ll the iPad mini is getting almost no use. I have sister who plans to sell her mini for the same reason.

We used to carry our full size iPads around with us all the time when we were using iPhones, getting the mini was a move in the right direction until we started using phones with larger screens. I find the size and features of the Note ll with its SPen to be more useful than the iPad mini on my job and in my personal use. YMMV ~
