iPad mini iPad Mini...iPad to TV?

Hi all, I like to watch games, videos, etc on my iPad, but would like to have it on my TV as well...

is there a product that will connect my iPad and TV so I can display whatever is on my iPad on my TV?

You'd use Airplay.

There's also an Apple adapter that you can use as well.

It usually depends if the developers of the app you are trying to AirPlay support it.

Here in the UK, I believe there are certain apps that do not support Airplay, Sky Go for example.

The Apple TV does pretty much that with airplay mirroring. It's probably the feature I use the most. I watched the last series of Spartacus streamed on the internet to my iPhone and mirrored to my 32" TV via the ATV. Great for sharing your photos with to as well. I have found gaming to be a bit laggy.

I tried that adapter...it doesn't play the sports games...only videos/pictures.

how did you mirror it?

If you are running iOS 7 just swipe up and you will see the Airplay button right there. You have to have both devices on the same home network and signed in with the same apple id.

when you select air play, you check the mirroring box and it will do what ever is showing on your ipad.

Yea, like everyone has said....that tool is called an Apple TV.

Both Apple TV and the adaptor above will work. I use the HDMI adaptor with our iPad 2 and iPad Mini. I watch ESPN (WatchESPN app), football games (NFL Sunday Ticket), and movies (Netflix) on my TV from our iPad all the time. Don't understand why the adaptor is not working for you.

We don't have Apple TV but that's probably the most efficient, since it's all wireless.
