iPad mini Mail storage issue

Hi, my daughter's iPad mini V1 running the latest iOS 9 shows under: Settings>General>Storage & iCloud Usage>Manage Storage that her "Mail" is using 4.3 GB. She has not 1 email in her inbox or in any of the other Mail folders. There is also no mail sitting on her ISP's server.

How can I find and purge to regain her storage.
