iPod Ipad Mini Not Charging

my ipad mini is water damaged and now it is not charging nor getting connected to computer.

Pay the $199 - $299 for an out of warranty replacement and move on.

Independent shops might charge $109 , but I would rather have the entire ipad replaced

Lets start with I hope you let it dry first before plugging it in. Beyond that, make sure you're plugging it in using an appropriate adapter versus just a USB port. Not all USB ports are equal.

I'd use a factory adapter (or equivalent) before giving up to the ghost.
