I picked up an iPad Mini Retina yesterday for my wife as well as a regular iPad Mini case. It's one of those folio-style cases with the plastic shell that holds the Mini. Well, it turns out the rMini was just a bit too big to fit in this style of case. It even cracked one of the corners from less than a day of use...

Has anyone else had issues getting their Mini to fit into certain cases? Which cases that you've used do actually fit?

The mini retina is slightly thicker than the mini 1, so cases that are made out of hard plastic will likely not fit. Cases that are made out of flexible material (like the speck candy shell) will probably fit. Specifically, the poetic slim shell which is a hard plastic back shell doesn't fit the new mini.
