iPad mini iPad Mini Smartcase front not flat on back?

Hey,

I've got myself the new leather smart case for the iPad Mini and wonder about the front cover not laying flat on the back when I have the case open. Here's what I mean:

I mean, I can keep the back flat by holding the front down, but just one more millimeter and it would've been perfect.

Also, the camera seems to be somewhat misaligned:

Hearing so much about the superior margins of the case. Could someone confirm whether this is normal or not? Thanks a lot.

Not normal. Went and replaced it and the new one fits much better, though it's still not perfectly flat when turned around (might improve further with time).
