I updated my aunts iPad mini last night, everything seemed to go ok.
But I get the white "Hello" screen, "click home to continue" - and now it's prompts me to enter "Touch ID or Passcode" - won't let me bypass this.
I never set up Touch ID or a passcode for her iPad. She's older, doesn't take the iPad out of her room - so to avoid confusion I never put this lock on here.
What the heck??! Is there a default passcode for this?
EDIT - Never mind...solved. sorry. She apparently did set up a passcode but had no idea what this was or what she was doing. Just glad she remembered the numbers.
Trying to get tech info from someone very unfamiliar with tech...it's about as painful as a root canal.
