Pleased to find my Mini2 32GB is very noticeably faster on 11.3, app switching, safari loading, pretty much the whole UI - yay!

Mine has been too, however I also run with reduce motion enabled, that helps it seem more fluid also.

Thanks. As I posted elsewhere, my wife and I have identical Air 2s and 10.3.3 opens apps faster (and may do other things faster - haven't tested) but 11.x is a huge UI/UX improvement so it's a toss-up on the Air 2.

I'm glad your Mini 2 is still giving good service!

Yep I would say the interface now with Reduce Motion set on is only slightly slower than 10.3.3 (albeit with Reduce Motion set off). Its s definite speed improvement over 11.2.x though, that was borderline unpleasant to use...

Thanks. I'll get her to update today! 11 is a huge leap forward in terms of iPad usability. I didn't like slowing things down. I'll be interested to compare it to mine when it's updated.

10.3.3 still loads apps faster, but the margin feels closer. Some apps like Dark Sky are very noticeably faster on 10.3.3. Others, like Netflix, are almost as fast on 11.3 as 10.3.3. App loading speed is obviously not the only test for speed but it is easy to compare and does reflect a significant user experience factor.

My iPad mini 2 is still on iOS 9.3.5. Should I upgrade to iOS 11.3 to match my other iOS devices?

Only you can decide that but there is plenty of info on these forums to help with your decision.

Not unexpected but also not related to Mini 2’s....and iOS 8 was quite a while ago...
TrueLaLey Sister so TRuE and agree with u.

iPad Mini 2 is like: (i'ts simple from now as i score it down)
iOS 7.1.2 10/10
iOS 8.4.1 8/10
iOS 9.3.5 7/10
iOS 10.3: 5/10
iOS 11.3: 2/10

Yes, iOS 11.3 is somewhat good according to Youtube because iOS 11.2.5 is like 1.8/10 Score which is really bad but iOS 11.3 made it somewhat score for me like 2/10 just like iPad Mini 1st gen in iOS 9

Cool! Glad to hear that. I like when we the consumer get an extra lease on the life of our products.

Be nice if you could post your OWN experiences, we can all google Youtube and repost others comments, hoping to add to our own aura...but that is not really required here. If you aren't commenting from your own experiences then please make it clear as I and others would appreciate being able to ignore such regurgitated "input".
