iPad3,x - iPad 3, iPad 4

iPad5,x - iPad Air 2, iPad mini 4
iPad6,x - 1st generation iPad Pro 12.9", iPad Pro 9.7", 5th generation iPad
iPad7,x - 2nd generation iPad Pro 12.9", iPad Pro 10.5", 6th generation iPad
iPad8,x - 3rd generation iPad pro 12.9", iPad Pro 11"
iPad9,x - ???
iPad10,x - ???
iPad11,x - 3rd generation iPad Air, iPad mini 5

So, what do you think? Maybe:

iPad9,x = 10.2" iPad
iPad10,x = 4th generation iPad Pro 12.9", iPad Pro 11"

Here's hoping for some mention of the 10.2" next week. I could see the iPad Pros getting a silent update though, especially if it just gets a revamped A12X. If not next week, then in the fall this year.

They have to be iPad9 and iPad10 though. Otherwise I don't understand why they would skip those numbers.

There are four each because they represent WiFi, WiFi + Cell US/CA, WiFi + Cell Global, WiFi + Cell China.

Here are the 7 iPad models that were officially registered in Europe this year:

A2197

A2228
A2230
A2232

What are the ones that are the iPad 10.2", if any?

As for the iPad Pros, there should be 8 of them, 4 for each size, but not all of them would registered in Europe.

Would be interesting to know this. All that seems to be clear here is that there are more iPads on the way in an October event together with the 16” MBP?

Everymac says the 10.2” has 4 identifiers.

A2199 is a new number we hadn’t seen before.

That leaves:

A2068
A2228
A2230

However, that also implies there may be an as yet unidentified A2229 and probably others.

Oops, I missed A2232, so that means that there are 4 still outstanding.
