I've had my iPad for about 3 weeks now, starting to notice that my Neckstrain from first iPad usage isn't as bad if anything at all. Just me or are you getting used to it as well?

Same here. After a few days of use (mostly on the train, couch), my neck was rather stiff.

Seems to have worn off now, although I try to hold my pad up closer to eye level as that alleviates the problem.

I'm used to it, from lazing about in awkward positions with my laptop. The iPad is much easier to reorientate, however, so you can lie in various different awkward positions to ease the strain. I can't see a reason why prolonged use of an iPad would cause any more strain than the same duration with a magazine.
