Apple has just updated apple.co.nz and the iPad is now available in NZ.

However there is nothing in the online store, the site redirects you to a page to find your local retailer which is odd.

We dont have any Apple Stores in NZ but there are plenty on Authorised Resellers.

Cant wait to get mine at 8am.

p.s most of the authorised stores are opening at 8am which seems like a time set by Apple. Online ordering is odd since every other Apple product is always available through the Apple Store online

We only have 1 carrier with Data Plans for the iPad (Vodafone)- $20 for 250mb and $50 for 3gb which seems expensive?

Nah... not too bad, here in Norway two comparable plans from my carrier are 100MB for NOK 49 (≈ NZD 11) and unlimited (but reduced speed after 4-6GB) at NOK 249 (≈ NZD 55) including our 25% VAT.

I don't think that there is a time set by Apple, at least not in Mexico because the biggest reseller stores are opening at the stroke of midnight whilst the ones in malls or best buys will open at their regular time.
