iPad now ships within 24hrs from Apple

Looks like the 7-10day wait time is just about over if you're looking to order an iPad from Apple. Currently they are shipping within 24hrs.

This is definitely great news for those having trouble finding it locally, if that's even an issue any more or just held off due to not wanting to wait. Figure I'd just give a heads up as I saw this tidbit on my appadvice app this morning.

The wait was never too bad when you ordered online. A couple of months ago, June I think, i ordered mine online and got it in 7-10 days.

Or you can just walk into an Apple store and get it immediately if you have one nearby. That's what I did over the weekend.
