iPad os 18 has completely broken ad blocking for me

Any one else having this issue? i have network level blocking from eero which worked great until iOS 18 on my iPad and phone. Now both are unusable because holy crap websites and apps kill you with huge ads and pop over full screen ads, etc. I‘m also using a safari ad blocker too which also doesn’t seem to do anything.

Im assuming it’s an iOS 18 issue as it was instant. Guessing some goofy a$$ iCloud plus setting maybe but no luck finding it.

turned off private relay and made zero difference. Any idea? Spell check also is not working.
 
No wifi iPad. One website I counted 23 ads then a full screen subway pop up. lol it’s unusable. My service was blocking about 19k ads a day then after iPad is 18. 0. Crazy.
 
Eero built in network wide and the crystal? Been using it for years. It’s weird like a light switch Just all ads. Just did a network update from eero. So far so good but odd. Only on iOS 18 devices? which didn’t make sense if I’m the only one and my network never changed? But I’ll be happy if this solves it.

omg ads have gotten out of control Though on sites. Has anyone ever actually clicked on an ad?
 
Try restarting and/or resetting Eero and Crystal. Turn toggles off and on again.

Try updating Eero and Crystal.

If not updated for a long time aka abandoned, consider replacing with alternatives.
Eero —> AdGuard DNS
Crystal —> Ghostery or Adguard content blocker
 
Did "Limit IP Address Tracking" get turned back on for your WIFI connection? Mine did and that caused my iPad to bypass my ph-hole.
