Have you got your otterbox email? Or check their website! The defender series looks like a great, durable case. So excited to get one this SUMMER:(

They really need to be on the ball, I need a good case and this would have been it.

Summer release? Meh.

NOT Protective against water, which is the only reason to buy an Otter Box case for anything.

They should probably change this wording:

"The built-in stand will come in handy while trying to watch a movie or video..."

Wouldn't it have been better to say, "The built-in stand will come in handy while watching movies or videos..."? Doesn't make it sound like it's such a challenge.

Yes, that is pretty bad wording. Come on try to watch a movie. We dare you.

Personally I find that to be butt-ugly, sorry!

Also, I want a case that doesn't add significant bulk.
Part of the iPad's appeal is light weight (at least, it is to me). It's heavy enough that some people already complain about trying to read on it, adding more bulk would be right out.

I wonder how hard it is to get the iPad into and out of the Defender case? I like it a lot, because I've been looking for a good, protective case so I can bring it with me on ATV rides. Not mounted where I can see it, but in my storage box until we stop. Then with the built-in GPS and topo maps that you can get for it, I can doublecheck our location against my regular GPS (DeLorme PN-40SE).

Otterbox

If you want a great protection case though what $90? It's gonna cost more then that if you crack your screen etc.

for a $90 clunky looking case I would have to see and feel it hands on to even consider it. Who knows, maybe it would blow me away. :p

I'm a little suprised that they don't even consider it water resistant. It's a little pricey too. I'm glad it has a stand and a front cover though. I'm not sure if I'll get it or not. I can't wait until summer to get a case for my 3G.

That thing is HUGE and UH-GLEE.

It completely ruins what is a beautiful industrial design and as mentioned, it is the same cost as SquareTrade with the coupon code "thirty30."

Do.

Not.

Want.
