I ordered the Ipad from Canada website this Monday(6.28). The website said the estimated ship time is 7.13, however according to the email I received this morning, it has been shipped today(7.2)! 11 days earlier than the website estimated！

Anyone met this situation before, or it is just a coincidence? I guess the "Ipad out of stock period" will pass soon.

I ordered mine on sunday june 27th, i got a shipping expectation of july 13th and a delivery expectation of july 20th.

You order yours after mine and get it shipped right away? How could that happen.

The models are probably different but i cant see why that would affect the shipping date so drastically...

No update so far....and believe me I'm checking :rolleyes: I'm hoping for an early delivery, but at the moment UK delivery stands at an estimated 15 days. (10 days to go...:( )
 
Ordered mine on June 28th (16gb wifi). Web site said ships in 7-10 days.
Estimated ship date is July 13th with delivery on the 16th.
Hopefully it ships early.
 
I really hopes this happens with me! Ordered July 3, estimated ship July 20, estimated delivery, July 23. Ugh. I'm on a wait list at my Apple Store, but it's apparently a mile long. No iPads in Pittsburgh. What model did you order?

Or just check out the Curry's and PCWorld websites. That is what i did and reserved the model i wanted in a store en route from work and picked it up the same day...(last night in fact).

If you really want one you don't have to buy from Apple.

Yep, It is already in my city's fedex facility and ready to pick up.
The model is 16G+3G one.

Kerching: As for the checking PCWORLD. Not gonna pop instore anytime soon. I seem to be about 100 miles away from the nearest listed store. :eek: ........ as I type its - NOT YET SHIPPED - 8 days to go ....and counting. :):(:):(:):(

Luckily its only been the 2010 MBP and now the iPad....Even so, I've spent most of this year waiting impatiently for :apple: to deliver shiny new things to my door and take my spare £'s. :rolleyes:

PC World & Currys showing no stock within a 60 odd mile radius... :(
I am terrible when it comes to waiting for things I have ordered but will cling to the example above where iPad has arrived considerably earlier than anticipated:D
 
so i ordered the ipad 16g wifi only version.:apple:

i live in nova scotia canada.

my ship dates and delivery dates are much longer than people who ordered theres after mine. I don't quite understand why this is happening.

No notificiation of shipment yet (July 7th). Im hoping it ships later today or tomorrow.

I recently visited my local futureshop and played with one for a while and well I am semi-addicited and don't think i can wait much longer.
 
I think that you were just lucky. With more of the world getting the iPad soon, I can see constraints lasting a little longer.
 
Ordered a 16GB (Wifi only) from Apple Canada on July 4th.

Ships: July 20th
Delivers: July 27th

Anyone see earlier than expected shipments in Canada (or, God forbid, late shipments)?
 
I really hope this means that the iPad is coming to the extra nine countries soon
 
The more expensive your model, the faster shipping will be. By far, the best selling model is the 16GB WiFi. In most areas, you can walk into a store and pick up the 64GB 3G, no problem.
 
My ipad shipped out dismorning from SHENZHEN CN, moved to LANTAU ISLAND HK fedex facility and has been there for the past few hours. hopefully it starts moving towards canada soon!

shipped today and it says it should be delivered by the 14th of july.. to longggg...
 
I wasn't aware of any shipping issues in Canada... Why not just walk into a Future Shop/Best Buy/London Drugs and pick one up? They all have stock locally here in Edmonton. :confused:

Well I dont live in Edmonton, I live in nova scotia, and every future shop/best buy is sold out of every version except 64 wifi 3g which i dont want.

anyway its on its way to ontario right now, hopefully they can ship it down east fast!
 
They are in stock in most Best Buys (I live close to Montreal) in my area. I almost picked one up earlier this morning.
