It literally just overheats when im doing light tasksNot if you give us absolutely nothing to go on no.
The first thing I would do is take off any shells - anything that completely covers the back.I wanted to know if anyone has a fix or a way to prevent this.
Nope. It almost melts my skin off but it dosent show that
I do this from time to time to check the temperature my finger almost gets burned. The first thing I would do is take off any shells - anything that completely covers the back.
The battery temperature is stable tho. The part that heats up the most is the cpu (normal) but the lower part is also hot for example im currently typing this on it and these two parts are hot the battery is fine.Based on your description, I think you should stop using that iPad immediately. It sounds like the battery is dangerous and at risk of catching fire. The fix is most likely a new battery.
Hmmm, then I’d go through the usual IT stuff and see if anything helps:
- turn off/on again
- update OS to latest version (i f applicable)
- end processes that aren’t needed
- check battery health with a tool like coconut battery
If nothing helps, take it to an Apple Store if you have one close by.
You can't feel from the outside which inside parts are getting hot. The entire case is filled with battery. That's what you're feeling. It sounds dangerous and I recommend you stop using it. As mentioned, take it to an Apple Store or call Apple for repair options. The battery temperature is stable tho. This is sad i wish i could downgrade it.He’s using iPad 5th with A9.
Sadly the chip is running at it’s limits.
Activating low power mode may reduce the CPU clock and heat.
