I've noticed that my iPad Pro (13″, M4) tends to overheat when using the Apple Pencil Pro with Apple Notes and FreeForm. After experimenting with various settings, I've identified that the issue is likely related to iCloud synchronization.
When iCloud sync is turned off or when I take notes locally on the iPad, the device doesn't heat up as much. This suggests that the constant syncing with iCloud might be the culprit.
I believe Apple needs to address this by optimizing iCloud synchronization. It would be beneficial if they could provide more settings options, such as allowing synchronization at specific intervals instead of what seems like a continuous stream of data from the Pencil. This would likely help reduce the heat generated by the iPad during use.
What do you think? Any suggestions or insights would be appreciated!
