Not that the iPad is much good outdoors anyhow, but if you're like me and wear prescription polarized sunglasses, you may find that the screen goes black in portrait orientation while viewing through the sunglasses. Not a deal killer, but annoying nonetheless.

The iPhone doesn't present this problem. Oddly, the 27" iMac doesn't either, but the 20" does, at least with my shades.
 
yes, that works of course, but being used to an iPhone, portrait is my go-to handling mode.

not complaining here, just pointing this out.

You know..I am sure you didn't mean this to be amusing...but, even as a fanboy, I find it funny as crap!:D:D
