ipad prepared for shipment - how long till it ships?

My apple tracking app said my 16gb ipad was prepared for shipment 24 hours ago.
Any idea how long it will be till it goes to shipped?
How long does it take to ship from China to the US for Saturday delivery?

although i am in the UK i have ordered an ipad from Apple store us for delivery to a re-shipper.

Mine was "prepared for shipment" for a couple days and 5 minutes ago I got tracking info!

The time from "prepared to ship" to actually shipping varies a lot. Your iPad can get from China to your delivery address in less than 2 days.

mine was prepared for shipping for 2 days yesterday i got shipping info and today I got an exception.

so I'm not sure if I will get mine on saturday or not? anyone else seeing this happen to theirs?
