iPad Pro 10.5” battery drain?

I noticed that my iPad Pro 10.5’s battery seems to be draining unusually fast the past two days somehow. After being fully charged 4 hours ago, it is already at 54% with 3 hrs total use. Is there an accurate app I can use to check the capacity before I take it in to an Apple Store to get its battery replaced? Which brings me to my next question, should it be at the same $20-ish that the other batteries are currently being replaced for if it comes to that?

Have you performed any updates in the last few days? Have you restarted it? Does it feel warm to the touch even when left unused? Sounds like some process is running amok in the background causing the battery drain. Of course there could be some hardware failure causing this..

If you have access to a Mac, then Coconut Battery app is one that is recommended most often here to check battery health.
Are you past your 1 year warranty? The 10.5 was introduced June last year so you might still be in warranty. Otherwise battery replacement is $99 in the US.

Apple will only help you if their diagnostic calls for it. Not otherwise.

It’s rare for Apple to be able to swap just the battery. Almost no store does that. Those that do probably charge USD 99.

But in the case of iPads, they usually are unable to swap the battery, they give you a different iPad. Usually about 40-50% of the price of the new iPad if you are desperate and they don’t agree with your battery analysis.
