Oddly enough I can't find this information anywhere but what are the amperage and voltage outputs of the iPad Pro 10.5 charger?

The 9.7 Pro had a traditional 2A, 5V USB specification while the original 12" Pro required more oomph, but I'm unable to find what the new Pros need. Those of you who own a new Pro can simply read this information from the charger.

Thanks a bunch!

It’s a 12w charger you can see the specs on Apple.com

Charge rate is 30-35% every hour slowing at 85%

If you use the usbc charger (Macbook) and the correct cable from Apple it’ll charge between 45-50% every hour slowing at 85%

*thats approx from what I’ve observed.

Thanks for your reply but I'm unable to get the answer to my question from the thread you're referring. Maybe it's somewhere in there and I don't see it but I need to know the voltage and amperage output for the new iPad Pro 10.5 charger.
[doublepost=1499514712][/doublepost]Thanks Gav2k, I'll look it up on Apple.com. (My question isn't about fast charging but about having compatible USB outlets since I have to get by a lot without AC outlets.)

Ah anything 1amp and above will charge just fine. The older 500ma sockets will charge but it’s stupidly slow.

Great! In the mean time I came by Apple's official answer to the fast charging issue if it hasn't been mentioned yet elsewhere--it also has the specs for the 12W adapter: 5.2V and 2.4A

https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202105

I still couldn’t see the actual data in that link, but fast charging is normally at 14.5v and 2A (29W).

Therefore the MacBook charger which matches those outputs is the perfect charger.
