My iPad is just over a year old and I’m having issues with the keyboard. The keys aren’t reacting to my taps and sometimes gets stuck, sometimes it won’t execute until I tap it 2/3/4 times. This will occur anytime I’m typing, sporadically, no particular part of the screen or letters. The space bar sometimes gets stuck. I’m currently running iOS 12.2

All in all it’s annoying. I do believe this happened once before, lasting a few weeks then seemed to be fine. But this time it’s been about a week or so with these issues.

I’ve cleaned the screen and tried to keep tabs on the issue but there doesn’t seem to be any patterns.

Any idea what I can do troubleshooting?

Thanks

Did you purchase it with the IPP? And do you have AppleCare? Take it to Apple and have them look at it. If you have Apple care or if its a common problem, they might replace/repair it.

Ive noticed this with my 10.5” IPP that I’ve had for about 2 years now with the ASK. It seems to lose connection often and I will need to take the keyboard off and put it back on for it to register any keys. The keys themselves seem to fine, so it seems more like a software issue, which is really annoying. Not sure if it has to do with ios 12.3 or not.
