iPad Pro 10.5 on Verizon

Just got my iPad Pro from the Apple store. Just came home to activate the data on it, but there is no option for Verizon. I know that the new iPad has an embedded SIM card, but when I checked about the SIM card, it doesn't show that it supports Verizon, even though the iPad from the Apple store has the same bands that the Verizon iPad has. It doesn't sound like Apple support knows about it, but the representative told me to go to a Verizon store in order to activate it. Will Verizon be able to activate it in the store?

The embedded sim isn't compatible with Verizon, need a Verizon sim for it to work.

The apple sim doesn't support Verizon. You'll need a sim from them.

All Pros, including Verizon, have an embedded Apple SIM and the option to insert another SIM of your choice.

I just never checked it all the way. I thought that the embedded SIM would work with all the carriers.

Yep. Pretty sure you can get a new Verizon SIM card from Apple.
