which would you prefer. I’m in the fence in trading my current iPad in and grabbing the older version. I believe both have promotion etc...I’m just trying to find somewhere to get one cheap

I would prefer the 10.5”. Aside from the fact that I have been using it everyday for the past year and a half or so, I find the larger version to be unwieldy, particularly when I am mobile, which is ver very often.

That said, you should know that some folks have reported a white patch/ spot near the Touch ID button, hitch has led them to return/ exchange their units. I have not faced that problem till date (touch wood).

I played around with a 12.9 a few days ago and thought it quite wonderful. Thing is, I wouldn't use it outside of my residence and inside I'd much prefer to use a laptop or my desktop with its three monitors which I love.

As a new owner of a 10.5 Pro (Apple refurb), I echo the concerns of kristalsoldier about the bright spot issue.
