I have a 10.5 iPad Pro and most of the time it’s perfectly fine. Under some colors though, there is weird perfectly straight solid rectangle going across the horizontal display that kind looks like a milky white. For example, when watching a movie depending on the colors present it becomes visible, other times it’s not there. Games too. It’s completelay consistent though under which colors it appears.
It’s about 3/4 of the way up the screen and covers roughly 20% accoss the horizontal. It’s like someone took a white plastic filter strip about 2 inches wide and placed it over the length of the screen when certain colors were present.
I’ve been meaning to bring it to the Apple store (it’s under warranty) but because it only appears under some colors and not others, I’m been putting it off because they make take a while to replace it. Also, last few times I’ve had issues on my Apple device they make me wipe/restore and come back a week later, even for hardware issues.
Anyone recognize what I’m describing? I’ll try to get a picture from a separate device so you can see. I’m curious to know what the nature of this issue is or if others have seen it.
