I have a older IPad Pro and just realized even though it has a regular headphone jack, when I plug my IPhone 11Pro headphones into the charging port it allows me to listen through that jack.
Any body else try that?

Those iPhone 11 Pro headphones are meant to transmit audio VIA the lightning port.

Those iPhone 11 Pro headphones are meant to transmit audio VIA the lightning port.

I guess I didn’t know the charging port was already set up in the older iPad.

Any lightning port supports audio out, it’s not limited to iPads.
