Hi all,

So, on monday I got the 2020 iPad Pro 11 nich, upgraded from 9.7 pro. Everything seems fine, apart from the speakers which sound unbalanced. When holding the iPad in landscape, the speakers located on the left seem to sound much more prominent. I don’t think it’s a hardware issue, because when I rotate the iPad, it persists (but the pair of speakers, obviously, changes) other than that, they sound great, much better then my old 9.7 pro (which sounded good to me as well, and well balanced). My hearing is fine , don’t have this issue on my iPhone 11 Pro or MacBook Pro or 9.7 iPad Pro (which has, I believe, a similar speaker setup). It’s not a big problem, but maybe someone has had a similar issue or knows anything about it. The only thing I tried doing is a hard reset, didn’t work.

Thanks in advance!

Did you try updating your iPad Pro to iPadOS 13.5 to see if the problem would go away?

It's an iPadOS issue. Had that happen a couple of times when I rotate the iPad and lock it in landscape. Once I pick it up in portrait, the sound is unbalanced. I have gotten around this problem by rotating the iPad from portrait to landscape and back to portrait. Updated my iPad today to iPadOS 13.5 so I'll see if the problem persists.

Yes, the iPad Pro is on 13.5.
It's not super prominent, but still I can hear it. Would reinstalling the OS help?
