iPad pro 11 battery drain

hi guys got my iPad pro 11 yesterday and I've been noticing a heavy battery drain overnight and while on standby. It was at 80% when I got it. Played around and installed some apps and today was at 37%. After leaving it on standby for a bit it dropped to 31% . Anyone hsving the same issue?

My 12.9” drained crazy fast as well I noticed. Hoping it was from installing apps

I know it's an old wives tale but it's probably just indexing. Just let it charge and index overnight and it should be better in the morning.
