Just bought a new iPad Pro 11” and did a dfu restore to the latest iOS 13.2.2.
On standby I’m losing 25% overnight. Everything is swiped away before hand and can’t see what’s doing it.

Anybody getting the same?

Please take it to your nearest Apple Store. You may have a defective battery.

If you just restored it then I'd wait 1-2 days to see if background processes settle. If the drain persists then take it to apple to get it exchanged.

I missed the part where you said you just bought it. If that’s the case, take it to the Apple Store, return it, then buy a new one. Also known as an exchange. Don’t waste your time!!! JUST DOO ITTTT

Not every country has a real Apple store. In many parts of the world there is no such thing as a return. And in these places warranty services are often not great either.

It should drain 0-2% over 8 hrs.

Did a full wipe again at about 1:30pm today and was charged to 100%. Haven’t installed anything on it so will look at it at about 6pm and see what it is.

Who the f cares about the other countries, when the country the OP resides in has returns, the dude is in the UK as far as I know, and they do have returns. Just take it to the Apple Store or send it back. smh

Where has he said that’s he’s in UK?

Me and Macs4u went to school together. Of course I know what general area he lives in.

Lol. No school stories please 😂

Gone back to the iPad after 5hrs and still showing 100%. So will recheck it before I go bed. If it’s still 98-100 then it’s been solved with a wipe

This is a fairly reasonable realistic approach to it.

Just checked it. It’s now been 21.5hrs and it’s saying 90%. Checked in the battery settings and says photos has accounted for 90% of that. Is that because I have photos set to download originals? I have a large library so probably been downloading them all overnight.

Yes. And there have been numerous bugs recently with the iOS mail app. If you have push/fetch running this may be killing your batters as well.

I’d doubt that it’s a hardware/batter issue. Unless it gets exceptionally warm/hot during charge or heavy usage.
