Doesn’t explain much is it normal ?

I have had loose USB-C ports on laptops and either fixed them or had them replaced - they usually caused connection issues. Don't see a loose port on an iPad being much different.
I trued other products like a Nintendo switch and battery bank both have loose ports so idk now .

That really sucks.
That said, IPP 12.9 G2, I went through a total of 5. (original and 4 replacements)
On the other hand my IPP 11 has been rock solid.

Sounds like you are having a bad streak of luck with this. Wish I had a better answer than just "do it again ..." 😣

I can post a video of issue if that helps.

When I look at your video ...
I have a cable from Anker that fits snug and does not flex or wiggle. It snugs tight against the iPad frame and almost "clicks" into place.
I have another from Cabepow that shows the same as yours in terms of flex and fit.
Both are braided cables.
Both work for my IPP and MB.

If it does not cause any charging issues or data transfer problems ... maybe it is good as is?
