iPad Pro iPad Pro 11" M1 Battery life

Hi,

I got an iPad M1 2021 bought 6 months ago. I am worrying about the battery so I was wondering if any good free tool to test it.

Just browsing Amazon app/safari my battery has gone from 12% to 4% in under an hour 30-45 min and a bit worried.

An iPad battery lasts 10 hours. So, in one hour, it should go down 10%. Yours went down 8% in 45 minutes. That sounds completely normal.

I need to check, maybe I got my times wrong ,but I think there is no way it will last 10 hours for me

Hi! If you'd like to check battery health, there's an app called Coconut or iMazing. If i understand correctly, Coconut can be installed directly on the ipad, while iMazing is installed on the mac to check connected iphone or ipad

To get coconut to work I Download coconut to my MacBook Pro than I used a USB – C cable from my Mac book to my iPad

I keep my iPad Pro 2020 version connected to the battery 24/7 and below is what I got for over 22 months of operation.

Wow the capacities are so different from the 2020 and 2021!

Either that or I really lucked out. This lasts forever.
