Hallo, i know there is lot of threads and videos about this but i have little bit more specific question.

I have macbook pro 13 M1 and want to buy ipad pro. I need it especially for reading medical books with lot of pictures, sometimes netflix or PUBG Previously i had 12.9 2018 with magic keyboard but from magic keyboard ( or keyboard folio, silicons case etc) i have allergic reaction (pomphylis ) on my fingers :/ So ipad will stay just in some leather case. Is ipad pro 11 enough big for reading A4 books or text is too small and should i go for 12.9? Stores are now closed and no one has 11 inch model so cant check it live. In this situation which one you would buy? Thanks.

What was your opinion about the text size on your 13" iPad? A little too large or just the right size? Can you resize the text in your reading app?

it was fine, i borrowed tablet to my lovely wife ( and now she dont want to give it back to me ) but reading in bed it was i think litttle bit heavy ... Can you read whole A4 page on 11 pro or is it to small

I think the 11 Pro is perfectly fine for reading an A4 page. Depends on your eyesight and preferences though.

Buy the 12.9" iPad Pro.

An 11 inch Pro, or 10.9 Air for that matter, can handle A4 text books adequately - a little cramped but perfectly fine.

As a study tool nothing beats the 12.9 Pro from my perspective. Using split screen you have room for both a note-taking tool and reading the text book at the same time - or you can use programs like Liquidtext with great ease. Also, the 12.9 is a very useful complement to your M1 macBook as secondary screen using Sidecar.

I think the issue about weight is also due to the case.... My suggestion is try use the iPad naked, personally that's what I do will all my iPads. I know some people just don't feel well using their iPad naked and really need a case to feel comfortable. In that case get the 11in. Another thing that can give you peace of mind if you decided to not use a case is getting Apple care +
