So, I ordered one of the new iPad mini 6’s and I was looking to compliment it with another iPad after getting rid of my M1 iPad Pro 12.9”. I was either thinking about the iPad Air 4 or the M1 iPad Pro 11”. I’m not entirely sure which to go with.

I really want a green iPad, but I’ve owned an Air 4 before and I was kinda let down by the max volume of the speakers, but if I got it again, I could afford to get a pair of good earbuds to remedy that problem. On the other hand, an 11” iPad Pro would be a step up from that. I’m thinking maybe the Pro would make my mini look weaker in comparison, so getting the Air which has a similar set up might be my best option. Plus if I got earbuds for the Air that would mean I’d have them available to use for my mini as well.

What would you do in my position? If you’re wondering why I sold my 12.9”, I intended on buying something else with the money and it had nothing to do with dissatisfaction with the product. I loved it. I regret selling it now, but getting another one would take a while so that’s why I am leaning into the Air or the 11” as alternatives.

Thanks for your help! ??

EDIT: I wanted to say that I fell in love with my first Air 4 paired with the MKB. I had never owned an 11” sized MKB and the 12.9” MKB was too top heavy for me in my lap. The only thing I didn’t like about it was the speakers, but I think that was because I had been spoiled by my long standing experience with the Pro models.

Wait and spend some time enjoying your new mini before moving on to the next one IMO - maybe the 6th gen 12.9 if you can wait until Spring (assuming the Pros are back on a 12 month cycle now)?

Good point. I don’t really need two. I could save my money and get next year’s 12.9” or even the 11” if it has the XDR display next time around. Thanks for the advice!
