iPad Pro iPad Pro 11 Resolution and Apps

Is anyone else wth an 11 inch iPad Pro unhappy with app developers not updating their apps to fits the resolution? I play Fashion Empire and it’s stuck on previous gen resolutions. I have black bars. I sent a ticket to them and they said they would look into it, but so far nothing. Are there a lot of apps that haven’t been fixed to fit the 11 inch iPad? Is this a big problem?

Well, the caveat is that they said devs have to support EITHER the iPad OR the iPhone X screen. Starting today.
I don’t get why they don’t enforce both at the same time!!?
Most devs have updated by now for me, games not so much though sadly.
Also amazon for example is still not supporting the new resolution which is pretty stunning to me.

Still waiting on Eurosport Player and NFL GamePass. These are video streaming apps so the black bars are particularly annoying.

Wish Apple had stuck to 4:3 and not 199:139.

I remember some iPad apps still not optimized for first iPad Pro (blurred textures and text), so now when Apple ordered to support newest iPads Pro 2018, Im looking forward for updates

Btw, is Facebook app updated for iPad? (Not only 2018, but including 10.5 and 11p)

Yes Facebook updated a while ago.

Again, Apple said devs have to update for either the iPhone X or the ipad, not both, sadly!

Of course it's annoying. I have some apps I use regularly that weren't updated for the iPhone X screen resolution, much less the recent new iPads. That being said I can't relate at all to the people that said they regret buying an 11" IPP.

I only have this problem with one game that I play. And that is PUBG. Every other game is perfect. But the problem with PUBG is, the bars waste so much of your screen. So, instead of playing on my 11” screen. I’m playing on a 9” screen with 3” inches of black bars around the game.

All of my other games that I play support the odd 2388x1668 resolution.

I can’t wait for native resolution support in PUBG. Until then, I’ve stopped playing the game.
