Hi everybody,
on my iPad Pro 12,9" the microphone isn't working anymore with Voice Memos and Face Time – however, it is working fine with Siri and dictating stuff on the keyboard. Do those functions use different mics or do I have some weird software bug? Already tried a soft reset, no luck. Mic permissions in the privacy settings are given.
If everything uses the same microphone, this must be software related when it comes to specific apps – that's why I am asking here before making an appointment at the Genius Bar. Didn't find a definite answer with Google ...

EDIT: Just found the info that the iPhone uses the bottom micro for Voice Memos / Face Time and the front one for Siri. If this is the same on the iPad, it would indeed explain a hardware failure with the first one.
