iPad Pro 12.9” (2018) viewing angle

had this thing 5 minutes and unless my face is absolute central, dark areas can be seen in corners/edges

Is this poor screen quality or side affect of upgrading from smaller 10.5 screen?

Pretty standard for an IPS screen. Viewing angles aren’t perfect, but still a lot better than TN or VA.

I’ve noticed this too. My MacBook Pro has a larger display and doesn’t have this issue, my previous first gen 12.9” iPad Pro did not have dark corners as well.

It would seem like every 2018 iPad Pro has this issue, it’s certain to have this weird vignette effect. Probably due to the rounded corners.
