Oddly, I’ve got a brand new 12.9 2018 iPad Pro with a white spot roughly 5cm from the bottom and 6cm from the left edge in Portrait. Clearly visible on white and grey backgrounds and distracting when scrolling up and down these forums.

Replaced it today with another and exact same problem. Sadly after two attempts I’m giving up and going back to the trusty Gen 1 Pro 12.9. Planning to wait it out for the 2019/2020 release.

Just wondering if anyone else out there has seen similar.

Don’t know what Apple are doing but their hardware is becoming rather shoddy of late...

Cheers

Went through 3 11's with dark corners on the right hand side. Now waiting on my 2nd replacement 12.9 with the same issue you described. They're just too damn thin. The bright spots on the 12.9 are due to internal parts pressing on the LCD. Can't wait to get my 3rd 12.9 with the same issue, just hoping it's in a spot that doesn't stand out too much this time.
