Hard to say, there is a lot of indexing that goes on when it is first set up. Also, you end to use it more when you first get it. But I’m at 72% half way through my day, so not bad so far.
Yesterday I had 15 hrs of screen on time (mostly Ulysses and Bookends, some emailing and browsing too) and I still had 16% battery left at the end. Really impressed.
Just stay away from anything made by google and games and you’ll have great battery life! ;-)
Amazing battery life like almost any other iPad I had. Could probably reach 15 hours of movie watching and web browsing. I wish iPhones and MacBooks had this kind of battery life.
I bet. Hopefully they improve the battery on the flag ships. As close to 4000mah as they can get. Tech should allow for 2 full days between charges in my opinion. Idc if the phone ended up being a bit thicker.
I have had no problems at all with the battery life on my 3rd gen 12.9” iPad Pro. As others have stated I wish my iPhone did as good, although it is not that bad, it’s just not as good.
I’m noticing the new 12.9 drains a bit faster than my old 10.5 but it’s not a big deal. I’m always near a charger and it lasts at least 8+ hours of continuous usage of browsing, light gaming and media consumption. It certainly is better than my iPhone Xs Max, which is to be expected (not saying max is bad, it’s good... iPad just lasts longer).
