I turn off my 2019 iPad Pro at night, often with the battery fully charged. If I leave it off all night or longer, I find the battery is fully discharged when I try to start it. This did not happen for the first year I owned it, but is now happening regularly.

Any ideas on what is going on?

Is there an app on your device thats significantly eating at the battery?

No. It discharges turned off setting by itself.

Yesterday, I shut down all running applications when I turned it off for the night and it did not discharge. Some app may have been the problem but nothing showed when I looked at battery use.

That's possible but also concerning. I would have expected iOS to kill an app if it was going crazy in the background especially in standby.
